There are not a lot of companies out there that make vehicle specific fog lamps. Outside of going to the dealer, there is not too many other places you could find a set of OE style foglights for your 00-05 Ford Excursion . Luckily for you, Winjet has been expertly making all kinds of aftermarket fog lights for over a decade.
Like the foglights you could buy from your local Ford dealer, Winjet foglights are designed to fit into the factory mounting position on your Excursion . They also include the switch and wiring harnesses for easy installation. The big difference between Winjet and the dealer though, is PRICE. For a heck of a lot cheaper than what the dealer charges, you can get the styling and safety of foglights on your Excursion with money to spare for other upgrades.
That's not to say that Winjet foglights are cheap in quality. Winjet is a worldwide company who has been producing all kinds of foglights for years, and they are the biggest company to specialize in OE replacements. And unlike the other non-dealer fog lights out there, Winjet foglight housings are backed by a full one year warranty against defects. They are also sold in the complete kit, meaning all necessary bulbs, switches, and wiring harnesses are always included.
This particular foglight kit includes Winjet's Halo Projector Style foglights with Clear lenses. The projector lens helps spread the light allowing you a wider angle of view. Also, you can splice in the halo wiring to your parking lights, so that the halos illuminate even when your headlights and foglights are not on. Professional installation recommended.

- Many vehicles (especially trucks and SUV's) come with fog light harnesses pre-installed. Check around the area where the foglights are supposed to be installed and you may find stock harnesses taped inside around (usually above) the installation area. Please check for this before running a new wire harness.
- As with all light bulbs, never touch the glass of the light bulbs with your bare hands. The oil from your hands can stick to the bulb and make it explode. Either do not touch the glass of the bulb, or use clean rubber gloves while installing.
- You may get a check engine light on your Ford Excursion if you install foglights without resetting the computer. To prevent this (and for safety) you should disconnect the battery before installing fog lights onto your Excursion, and reconnect the battery only after installation is complete
- If you are picky about how your dashboard looks, you may want to go to the dealer (or a junkyard that has a Excursion with fog lights) and purchase a stock fog light harness and switch. These can be easily used with WINJET fog lights.
- If you plan on using an HID kit with your halo projector foglights, please use a low watt kit (usually 35w) as high watt kits (usually 55w plus) run hot and could damage the projector lenses on your Excursion fog lights
