Your stock engine exhaust system is not designed for peak vehicle performance. To comply with emission laws, your vehicle is equipped with a catalytic converter that reduces the toxicity of exhaust gases. The problem with this is that in by doing so, it severely restricts airflow and diminishes performance potential. While this is the law for vehicles driven on public highways, a catalytic converter is far from desirable for legally sanctioned race vehicles.
For true racers, Blox offers their high performance test pipes. Also called a cat elimination pipe, or sometimes just referred to as a "straight pipe" or "glass pack", test pipes replace the catalytic converter on its' position on the exhaust system. Composed of stainless steel with tig welded heavy duty flanges, it allows for optimal airflow giving your race vehicle huge performance gains. Additionally, Blox Test Pipes are equipped with sensor bungs so that you may utilize your stock sensors without having to drill or modify the pipe.
