The Brownline Metal Works Digital Torque Wrench is an enigma. By unwritten rule, digital torque wrenches are either supposed to suck, or cost an arm, a leg, and then some. Somehow though, Brownline has managed to create a digital torque wrench that is as accurate as the most expensive models on the market, while still being priced quite modestly.
The engineers at Brownline Metal Works were auto enthusiasts themselves were frustrated at the lack of quality digital torque wrenches that were both precise, usable, AND affordable. After many years of hard work, Brownline overcame the problem by developing their double gear sensing system which allows for ease of use and precision in an affordable design.
The result is a strong digital torque wrench that allows for repeatable accuracy of +/- 3.5% with handy features such as an audible buzzer once the target torque is reached. Also, with a strong Chromium Vanadium alloy it is guaranteed to handle high torque loads while the soft overmolded grip gives you a comfortable non-slip hold of your project.
