Toyota Corolla Cold Air Intake, Corolla Air Intake
Toyota Corolla Cold Air Intake and can be a great way to get a quick and easy boost in power for your Corolla. Cold Air Intake systems work in the same way: rerouting the stock air intake delivery system for the best performance out of your Toyota Corolla. Normally, the air filter in your Corolla is located in the engine bay where it can be easily accessed and replaced. The problem with this is, the heat of the engine bay has adverse effects on your engine’s performance.
The Corolla Cold Air Intake systems we offer extend the air intake tube to a lower position in your vehicle to collect denser (colder) air away from the hot engine bay. Also, the air filter is moved into a frontward position allowing for the cool air to be “rammed” into your engine, hence the term ram air intake or air induction intake that is used sometimes to refer to Corolla intake Pipes. This combination of cold and dense air being shot into your Toyota Corolla’s engine results in immediate and noticeable performance gains.
Our line of Toyota Corolla Cold Air Intake carry thru 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 or 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04 models.

Toyota Corolla Cold Air Intake Brand Overview
Toyota Corolla AEM Cold Air Intake Pipes are probably the first intakes that come to mind when you think of the term “Cold Air.” AEM was the first company to market their intakes as Cold Air Intakes, though they are by no means the only one. Injen RD Cold Air intakes and their rival Fujita F5 Cold Airs (Fujita was actually founded by ex-Injen people) are second in popularity to the market segment that prefers AEM Cold Air intakes for their Corolla. AEM Cold Air Intake pipes are usually available in Blue, Red, Grey (aka ceramic), and Polish colors.
Toyota Corolla X3 Cold Air Intake Systems are for cost conscious tuners. Using the same basic designs as AEM Injen and Fujita Cold Air Intakes, X3 Cold Airs deliver the same kind of power as the name brand intakes in the most cost effective design for your Corolla. X3 Cold Air Intake Systems are available in Red, Blue, Polish, and sometimes Black.
Toyota Corolla K&N FIPK Cold Air Intake systems use a completely different design approach than AEM Cold Airs and X3 Cold Airs. Instead of aluminum, K&N FIPK intakes use specially molded plastic for maximum air flow and engine cooling. The filter placement is usually less aggressive than other cold air designs, instead using strategically placed heat shields to block the heat of the engine. Unlike Corolla Cold Airs by AEM and X3 though, K&N FIPK Corolla Intakes are dyno proven for real world power upgrades. K&N also offers Typhoon style and Aircharger intakes depending on the year and model of the Corolla.
